Is Banham Zoo closing down?
Tuesday 3rd November 2020. The Zoological Society of East Anglia say they are devastated by the second forced closure of Banham Zoo in Norfolk and Africa Alive in Suffolk, following the government's announcement of the national lockdown.

Both our Zoos are open air; London Zoo is set within London's largest park – Regent's Park – and Whipsnade Zoo is in the Chiltern Hills countryside. We are limiting the number of people who can visit so that we can safely manage people and enable social distancing between visitors, and between visitors and our staff.

banham zoo is not as good as Africa alive and some of it is a bit run down but great if you like big cats , however the snow leopard enclosure is not that good because there are no climbing areas for them and they seem to prefer being inside.
